Abdon is a skilled Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) leader with over 30 years of experience in workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation across complex construction projects in sectors like education, aviation, data centers, healthcare, and sports & entertainment.

At TSIB, Abdon leads the EHS and Loss Control initiatives across a wide range of construction projects. He specializes in site-level EHS operations, ensuring the consistent implementation of project policies, procedures, and industry best practices to foster an incident-free culture.

Abdon collaborates closely with project teams to:

  • identify high-risk activities (HRAs)
  • recommend corrective actions
  • support informed risk-reduction decisions

Prior to joining TSIB, Abdon held leadership roles such as Director of EHS and Project Safety Manager, where he led initiatives ranging from hazard assessments to large-scale safety plan execution.

Abdon holds a broad range of certifications, including his CSP, ARM, CRIS, STSC, and LEED AP. He is also an authorized OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer.

Abdon earned both a Bachelor of Science and Master’s degree from Oklahoma State University. He is a proud U.S. Navy veteran who served aboard the USS Papago (ATF 160) and the USS Eisenhower (CVN 69)—experiences that shaped his dedication to service and leadership. When he’s not working, Abdon enjoys exploring new destinations with his wife and spending time with their children.
